US Developments

I’m sorry I haven’t posted much of late. I’ve been running around, missing the support network that goes with a big company and doing the things needed to set up a small one. And to be honest, I’m restricted from expressing a view on most of the things that have come up in the last week or so that I have particularly strong opinion about. But the developments in the US force me to put fingers to keyboard late at night.

It was inevitable that opposition to a bill which potentially licenses Betfair in California would come out at the last moment, and inevitable, too, that it should come from a combination of old school racing people and competitors who think that they are about to have someone eat their lunch. The miracle remains that anyone listens to this stuff any more.

But who needs me to write about it, when bloggers out there are expressing it as well as this?

Brilliant.
